- ac_consent_v1 — records your cookie consent choice. 12-month TTL, first-party, set by acceptcard.co.uk.
- ac_form_partial — localStorage entry that saves your in-progress quote form so a refresh does not lose your input. First-party, cleared on form submission.
- ac_attribution — sessionStorage entry that records UTM, gclid, fbclid, referrer for the current visit so leads can be attributed to source. Cleared when you close the browser tab.
2. Analytics (consent required)
Loaded only after you click Accept in the cookie banner.
- Google Analytics 4 (property G-9Q5QGGE1ZP). Cookies:
_ga,_ga_*. Purpose: aggregate visit counts, traffic source, page popularity. IP address anonymised. Data retention: 14 months. Vendor: Google LLC.
Opt-out: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or reject in our banner. - Microsoft Clarity (project wpz00vyps8). Cookies:
_clck,_clsk,CLID. Purpose: heatmaps, scroll depth, session replay (mouse movement and clicks, no keystrokes captured on form fields). Data retention: 12 months. Vendor: Microsoft Corporation.
Opt-out: Clarity privacy controls, or reject in our banner.
3. Advertising (not currently used)
AcceptCard does not currently run Google Ads, Meta Ads or any other advertising tracker. If we start, this page will be updated and your consent re-requested.
Lead-form tracking
When you submit the quote form at /get-quotes/ we record your form fields, page URL, user agent and the marketing attribution sessionStorage entry. This data lands in our Supabase database (table acceptcard_leads) and an email to the editor. Form data is not analytics; it is the quote enquiry itself and is processed under our Privacy notice.
Your controls
- Cookie banner: shown to every new visitor. Accept all, reject all, or close without choosing (defaults to reject for analytics).
- Browser controls: every modern browser lets you clear cookies and block third-party storage in its settings. This will reset your consent and the banner will re-appear next visit.
- Right to object: under UK GDPR you can object to our analytics processing at any time. Email adam@muswellrose.com.
