Disclaimer

AcceptCard reviews terminals, compares acquirers and introduces UK businesses to payment partners. We are not an acquirer, payment institution, e-money issuer, broker or regulated financial adviser.

Regulatory position

AcceptCard is operated by Best Business Loans Ltd (Companies House 16833937). We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Card payment processing is regulated where the processor is a payment institution or e-money issuer; we link only to acquirers that hold the appropriate UK or EU/UK-passported permission. Always check a partner's regulatory status on the FCA Register before signing.

Not financial advice

Comparing card-payment costs across acquirers is complex and individual to your business. We publish methodology-led comparisons, not advice. For advice on payment-cost decisions specific to your business, talk to your accountant or an FCA-authorised payments consultant.

Approval is the acquirer's decision

When you submit a quote request we pass your enquiry to the acquirer(s) or partner(s) you select. The acquirer runs their own underwriting and may decline, particularly for high-risk categories. We have no influence over the underwriting decision.

Pricing accuracy

Where we publish rates, fees or contract terms, we draw from publicly available rate sheets and our own quote tests. Pricing changes; the "Last reviewed" date at the foot of every page tells you when we last verified. Always confirm current pricing on the acquirer's own quote.

High-risk vertical disclosure

Where we publish content covering high-risk merchant categories (CBD, vape, adult, firearms, gambling, supplements), the category is disclosed on the page. We only route to acquirers that publicly accept the category. We do not publish routing for products or services that are illegal in the UK.

Commission disclosure

Acquirers, brokers and direct partners pay AcceptCard commission on completed introductions. Commission tier does not buy ranking position or review verdict. The full mechanics are set out in how we are funded.
